Overview

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee the airline’s sales, marketing, distribution, and revenue growth functions. This pivotal role requires a visionary professional who combines analytical capability with strong market insight, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive sustainable growth through data-driven decision-making and effective leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of Alkebulan Airlines’ commercial strategy in line with corporate objectives.
  • Lead sales, marketing, and distribution initiatives to optimize passenger and cargo revenue.
  • Oversee pricing, yield management, and route performance analysis to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Manage trade, corporate, and agency relationships while expanding the airline’s regional and international market footprint.
  • Coordinate with Network Planning and Operations to align route deployment with market demand and performance forecasts.
  • Lead digital and distribution transformation across direct (website, mobile) and indirect (GDS, OTA, TMC) channels.
  • Supervise revenue reporting, forecasting, and commercial performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Customer Experience to deliver cohesive commercial performance outcomes.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team with a strong customer-centric focus.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Aviation Management (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline commercial management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of airline revenue management, pricing, and sales distribution systems (GDS, PSS, BSP, NDC).
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets and managing large commercial budgets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in commercial performance and market analysis tools.
  • Understanding of IATA, ICAO, and ZCAA commercial regulations and standards.
