Overview

Alkebulan Airlines is strengthening its domestic operations and is seeking dedicated, disciplined, and service-driven Station Supervisors to support our ground operations across Zambia’s major airports.

The Station Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily flight operations, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently. This role demands strong coordination, leadership, and attention to detail to ensure exceptional service delivery and on-time performance (OTP) at each station.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily ground operations, including passenger, ramp, and baggage handling.
  • Coordinate aircraft turnaround activities to ensure safe and timely departures.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee check-in, boarding, load control, and dispatch coordination with flight crew and operations control.
  • Ensure accurate load sheets, baggage reconciliation, and flight documentation.
  • Liaise with airport authorities, ground handlers, and service providers to maintain efficient station performance.
  • Handle passenger service issues and ensure high-quality customer experiences.
  • Conduct safety briefings, ramp inspections, and performance reporting.
  • Support emergency response and irregular operations (IROPS) management.
  • Mentor and motivate station staff to uphold Alkebulan Airlines’ values of safety, professionalism, and hospitality.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or certificate in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline or airport operations (check-in, ramp, or load control preferred).
  • Sound knowledge of IATA AHM, ICAO Annex 14, and ZCAA operational requirements.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and familiarity with Departure Control Systems (DCS).
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as part of 24-hour operations.
  • Eligible to work in Zambia.
