Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cabin Safety Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of cabin safety, compliance, and crew operational readiness across our fleet. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and crew performance, providing leadership and direction to the cabin operations team and collaborating closely with Flight Operations, Quality, and Training departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Alkebulan Airlines’ Cabin Safety Management System (SMS) in alignment with ZCAA, ICAO, and IATA regulations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company cabin safety procedures, manuals, and operating standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
• Manage cabin crew readiness, including safety training, recurrent checks, and emergency procedures.
• Investigate and report all cabin safety-related incidents, ensuring corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities (ZCAA) on all matters relating to cabin safety and operational approvals.
• Work closely with the Cabin Crew Training department to ensure training programs meet operational and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the cabin operations team.
• Participate in safety boards, operational reviews, and compliance committees.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the airline’s cabin crew and inflight service teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline cabin operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Strong background in Cabin Safety, Compliance, or Inflight Operations Management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ZCAA, ICAO Annex 6 Part I, and IATA IOSA requirements.
• Proven ability to manage teams, conduct audits, and implement safety improvements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software tools.
• Diploma or Degree in Aviation, Safety Management, or related field (preferred).

Preferred Attributes

• Cabin Crew Instructor or Examiner certification (ZCAA-approved).
• Experience with SMS implementation and safety investigation procedures.
