Overview

Alkebulan Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Planning & Technical Records Officer to support the Maintenance & Engineering Department in managing aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation control.

The successful candidate will ensure that all maintenance tasks are properly forecast, coordinated, and recorded in accordance with ZCAA Continuing Airworthiness and ICAO Annex 6 Part I requirements. This role is key to maintaining airworthiness data accuracy, maintenance traceability, and compliance with Alkebulan Airlines’ quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and monitor the short- and long-term maintenance plans for the airline’s fleet.
  • Coordinate with line and base maintenance teams to schedule work packages and aircraft downtimes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and component replacements.
  • Control and archive technical logbooks, work cards, modification records, and maintenance releases.
  • Record and track component life data, ADs, SBs, and time-controlled parts within the maintenance tracking system.
  • Ensure timely input and verification of maintenance data in the aircraft maintenance system.
  • Prepare compliance and utilization reports for internal management and regulatory submission.
  • Support audits and inspections by ZCAA and internal quality assurance teams.
  • Liaise with engineering, planning, and quality departments to ensure continuous airworthiness compliance.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or certificate in Aviation Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in airline or MRO planning and technical records.
  • Sound knowledge of ZCAA Continuing Airworthiness, ICAO Annex 6, and EASA/FAA Part-145 standards.
  • Proficiency in maintenance software systems (e.g., AMOS, Rusada, Trax, or equivalent).
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and data-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling technical information.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and database tools.

 

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience in aircraft maintenance scheduling, fleet planning, or records archiving.
  • Understanding of aircraft reliability monitoring and component tracking.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, inspectors, and regulators.
