Overview

Alkebulan Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations & Ticketing Support Officer to assist in the efficient management of bookings, ticketing, and passenger service coordination. This role supports both the sales and operations teams, ensuring accurate and seamless booking processes in compliance with airline and IATA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations and ticketing through the airline’s Passenger Service System (PSS) and GDS platforms.
  • Process ticketing, reissues, exchanges, and refunds accurately.
  • Handle schedule changes, seat requests, and special service needs (SSR).
  • Support airport and agency teams in resolving booking and ticketing issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fares, flight schedules, and route inventory.
  • Assist with BSP/ARC reconciliations and ticket audit requirements.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in an airline, travel agency, or call centre environment.
  • Diploma or certificate in Airline Ticketing, Travel & Tourism, or Aviation Management.
  • Proficiency in Amadeus, Sabre, or similar GDS systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.

 

Preferred Attributes

  • Demonstrated knowledge of IATA ticketing procedures, fare construction, and reissue rules.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a calm and professional communication style.
  • Strong multitasking ability and commitment to accuracy under pressure.
  • Familiarity with PSS systems (e.g., GO7/W2, Amadeus, Sabre) and e-ticketing workflows.
