Overview

We are seeking experienced and confident Senior Cabin Crew Members to lead our inflight teams and ensure the highest standards of passenger safety, comfort, and hospitality. As a Senior Cabin Crew Member, you will serve as the in-flight leader responsible for coordinating cabin operations, mentoring crew, and ensuring full compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements under ZCAA, ICAO, and IATA standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise cabin crew during all phases of flight, ensuring adherence to safety and service procedures.
  • Conduct pre-flight briefings, allocate duties, and verify readiness of the crew and cabin.
  • Oversee emergency preparedness, safety demonstrations, and compliance with operational checklists.
  • Manage in-flight service delivery, customer interaction, and onboard issue resolution with professionalism and empathy.
  • Coordinate with the flight deck to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Conduct post-flight reports and performance feedback for assigned crew.
  • Support new cabin crew through mentorship, coaching, and adherence to Alkebulan Airlines’ brand and service values.
  • Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and integrity at all times.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2000 hours’ experience as Cabin Crew in a commercial airline, with at least 1 year in a senior or purser role.
  • Valid Cabin Crew Licence issued or validated by the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority (ZCAA) or other ICAO-recognised authority.
  • Valid Medical Certificate and current recurrent safety training.
  • Strong knowledge of ICAO Annex 6 Part I, ZCAA Cabin Crew Regulations, and company SOPs.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, grooming, and presentation standards.

Preferred Attributes

  • Instructor or leadership training certification (Train-the-Trainer or equivalent).
  • Experience with international operations or premium service airlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing future leaders.
