Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cabin Safety Instructor to deliver, oversee, and continuously enhance our cabin safety and emergency procedures training programmes in line with ZCAA, ICAO, and IATA standards. The role requires a hands-on professional with deep operational experience, instructional expertise, and a passion for developing high-performing, safety-conscious cabin crew.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage all initial, recurrent, and conversion training for cabin crew in accordance with approved training manuals and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct training on emergency procedures, first aid, dangerous goods, aviation security, and customer safety awareness.
  • Evaluate cabin crew performance during classroom, simulator, and practical assessments.
  • Develop and update training syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials in coordination with the Cabin Safety Operations Manager.
  • Ensure all training records are accurate, complete, and compliant with ZCAA oversight requirements.
  • Support regulatory audits, internal safety reviews, and IOSA compliance initiatives.
  • Mentor junior instructors and contribute to the continuous improvement of instructional delivery.
  • Assist in safety investigations, reporting, and implementation of preventive measures when training-related findings arise.
  • Promote Alkebulan Airlines’ safety culture, professionalism, and service ethos in all instructional environments.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5000 hours’ experience as a Cabin Crew Instructor, Examiner, or Safety Trainer in a commercial airline environment.
  • Prior operational experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member, Purser, or Safety Instructor (mandatory).
  • ZCAA-approved Cabin Crew Instructor certification or equivalent from an ICAO-recognised authority.
  • In-depth understanding of ICAO Annex 6 Part I, ZCAA Cabin Crew Training Regulations, and IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) requirements.
  • Excellent instructional, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and e-learning or LMS systems.
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities with attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience developing and implementing e-learning modules or blended training.
  • Qualification in Safety Management Systems (SMS) or Instructional Techniques (Train-the-Trainer).
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability.
  • Commitment to high training standards and continuous professional development.
